The Summit Sno Riders trail system is located in Central New York between the Catskill and Adirondack mountains. We are located in Schoharie County, 30 miles west-southwest of Albany and 5 miles up the mountain overlooking Cobleskill. Our trail elevation averages at 2500 feet above sea level which accounts for Summit's above-average snowfall.
Directions:
New York Interstate I88 to exit 20 - Richmondville. At light, follow Route 10 South 4 miles up the mountain to Summit.
Parking -
- On Rt. 10, at the mountain top, you will see a large pull-off for general parking at Trail 7C.
- The Conservation Club is located at the end of Bear
Gulch Lake. Follow Rt. 10 into Summit, take a right on Charlotte Valley
Road, take a right on Bear Gulch Road, follow to the very end at the club
house and groomer barn on Trail 7C.
